This depends on the size of the project and our current workload. This can take anything from a few days to a few weeks. We will always estimate the timeframe before we start the project.

Furniture refinishing is a more complicated and time-consuming process than furniture restoration. It takes more time and effort. Refinishing uses the bones of a piece of furniture to make something new, rather than trying to bring it back to how it looked when it was new.

Yes we offer all kind of repairs including the upholstery. We are the only place you need to go for all your furniture repair needs.

The Abbey group works with insurance agencies to resolve claims and provide first class restoration that will delight the policy-holder. We have extensive proven experience of a wide variety of restoration work and will happily provide testimonials, some of which are available on this site.

We provide a full quote and timing estimate for any work within 48 hours of a site visit.

We understand that your requirements can change, after a house move or redecoration, for example, and we will happily part-exchange any Abbey group piece for new at any time.

We are open Monday to Thursday from 8am-5pm and Friday from 8am to 1.15pm. We are closed on weekends.
