The Abbey group workshops are based in Romford, Essex and we offer delivery around the UK and an international export service.

Our history spans over a century of experience and knowledge of restoration and manufacturing. The many skills that are needed to restore each piece are as much a part of our business today as they were eight generations ago. We invest in our own training scheme so that the skills of our master craftsmen are passed on for the future.

Our customers come first

Our skill and commitment is evident in each piece we restore. We match this with exemplary customer service and pledge to respond to every enquiry within 24 hours, and provide a full quote and timing estimate for any work within 48 hours of a site visit. If large items are being restored at our premises then we will provide replacement items free of charge to keep any inconvenience to a minimum.

Wherever possible we use wood from sustainable resources and we continually improve our programme of energy efficient and recycling policies at our workshops. As a testament to our commitment, the Abbey group were proud winners of the Environment Business of the Year Award.
